The pesticides used for your home are the same chemicals we use in schools, daycares, hospitals and nursing homes. They do not pose a threat to humans and pets.
How often you need pest control services depends on a range of factors. Factors can include the type of pests you are dealing with, the level of infestation, and your specific situation.

We recommend getting these treatments three times a year if you have an infestation. Pest prevention is the best form of pest control.
The post-treatment process varies. What you need to do will change depending on the type of treatment or pests you’re dealing with. In most cases, we will provide specific instructions for you.

Outside we treat all window and door frames, eaves, garden beds, pathways, fence lines, garages and sheds, and any other buildings outside. We can also spray the kid’s cubby unless otherwise specified.

However, other treatments may require you to leave for 1 hour. Our pest technicians will contact you ahead of your appointment and let you know.
Pets, especially dogs and cats, should be moved for an hour or until the sprays are dry. Same as for birds in cages. We recommend covering fish tanks and bird cages with a sheet.
Pest treatments can take anywhere from half an hour to a full day. It depends on the size of the property being treated.

If you have a general pest treatment, we recommend removing all food items, including cookware, crockery and cutlery.
Remove clothing from the clothesline, keep windows closed, and turn pet bowls over.
The technician will advise if there are any other requirements on the day.
If there is rain on the day of your appointment, you will be notified by our staff before the scheduled appointment time. Our staff will reschedule the treatment.

For bees or wasps, we do our utmost to get to you on the same day.
Unfortunately, we cannot book same-day services for general pest control. Canberra Pest Exterminators are typically booked with regular clients in advance for at least a day ahead.
No. We put baits in locations where children or pets cannot access them.
You don’t need to worry about any damage or staining because of our water-based products. They do not contain strong solvents that are likely to cause any issues.
Do not worry if the area is dry. Dry products cannot harm you.
However, if you touch a sprayed area that is still wet please wash your hands with soap and water. Do not touch your mouth or face.
No. We only apply treatments to spots within cupboards where insects are found. This means it will only be applied to cracks, crevices, and hinges.
